Botanical Gardens pics

You may remember I was getting up at the unearthly hour of 5am on Sunday in order to join my photography class for a practical lesson at the Botanical Gardens. By the time I got there at 6am (I only got slightly lost) the sun was juuust coming up, and everything looked so pretty and fresh! It was definitely worth getting up that early, but unfortunately, lazy as I am, I don't see it happening too often...

Here are my favourites of the many photos I took in the four hours before I gave up, ate a Magnum and went home, hot, sweaty and with an aching back.

I wish I'd used a bigger DOf for this one because it's not all in focus, but oh well. I learnt!

I think this one is my fave! I just love the texture of the moss and the rock.

There was still dew on the grass...love it!

What do you think?

  4. These pictures are beautiful! Either I have a terrible 'eye', or I need to move to a more beautiful place to get things this elegant!
